Ok getting different views on vermiculite, is it safe to use mixed with peat for your T's. Yes or No?

Yes it is, there are some added benefits from using vermiculite.

1. Keeps the moisture longer.
2. Makes the peat look pretty.
3. What I find, it bonds the peat a bit better.

But

1b. what I don't like about vermiculite. it stains the glass and for that reason I, me personally don't use the stuff.

I will never use it again.
Once a tarantula from digging making a burrow got one of the vermiculite flakes lodged in her fang, and it was a huge struggle to dislodge it again.
