Sadly my male B. albopilosum was mauled, by a female today...his injuries where just to bad and we had to put him in the fridge...
He was my 1st T, and only matured very recently. We acctualy just wanted to get some experience, but she did not want anything to do with it!!!

Sorry to hear that
I hope that by feeding a female well on her mating day or the day before, chances are reduced of her attacking the male, but I guess such an attack can never be fully excluded. I'm also very alert and on standby with some tools, a piece of cardboard where applicable and a tub to cup one of them if things start to look wrong.
Did you freeze him? Fridge may not be enough...
