Well I'm not very impressed today  one of the species I ave always wanted and must need it in my collection has died!!!

Well last week my 4 cm Stromatopelma calceatum died shortly after its molt. he stopped eating and just looked sluggish so thought he was molting again but it did not turn out to be so he died.

Which left me with a 6cm (looked female) it has been 2 weeks after her molt, she ate 2 crickets and today when I was checking the temps in the spider room, saw her sitting on her side, which is strange for her as you never see her during the day!! when I opened the container, she was died, with what looks like a ruptured abdomen, close to her spinnerets.

I really don't have much luck with these species! :(
