Just checked my minimum ( in PTA = 12'c ) - all spiders are ok
Could it not be the "sudden" change in temp - where the spider has been accustomed to higher temps and then suddenly drop to a considerably lower temp?
Sorry to hear that, always sad to lose a spider.
But I'm also not so sure it can be the cold . The coldest time of the night is after 00:00 and get colder the early it gets, towards 02:00 is normally the coldest time of the morning.
Unless they are in a really cold part of the house.
It is know 22:00 and no heaters are on in my spider room, the temps are sitting at 14'c.
and the heaters got turned off at 07:30 this morning.
