Cricket 1 : P. Metalica 0

I dropped a cricket in the enclosure and the T seemed to stalk the cricket, so I left it there thinking the T would get it. Yesterday I went over all my Ts and saw that the metallica had molted, but was in the dead curl. So I took it out and saw that it was missing a chunk of its body on the bottom by L1. Then I saw the darn cricket scurrying about the enclosure :igiveup:

So whats the going rate for a 4th instar P. Metalica? I'd like to know what figure I should have in mind while I stick red hot needles through the cricket's body. uzi

This was my favorite of the younger ones. Always eager to take down prey items and never hiding in a dark corner.

I lost 2 P metallicas to crickets as well.

Hope that you feel better after punishing some crickets. Worked for me

Sorry to hijack your thread ,just thought I'd post it here ..also lost one of my p.metallica slings ,it molted half way through then I think it just got stuck halfway ,it molted while in the up right position ,really not nice loosing a T
