A friend of mine was busy cleaning out an old house in Somerset West, when he came across this spider long time dead. Being a avid Tarantula guy he asked the owner of the house if he every kept T's, no was the reply. He now thinks he has discovered a new Tarantula species. So I decided to post the pic to see if anyone could help

I think it just a MM baboon spider, Maybe Dimitri can way in here?

It will remain mystery for the rest of he's life.
Your friend will have to find a live specimen to see if it is a new species as they can't do anything with the dead spider.
