What is an fair price for an 6cm sling at the moment?

I paid R2000 for a 7cm juvie, and I think that's a very fair price.

Everything on the planet is only worth what someone else is willing to pay. If he can sell at R2400 and someone is willing to pay that much, so be it. It is still daylight robbery.

R2000 for a 7cm juvenile is fair. "Someone" paid R7000 for a mature breeding pair, again a matter of what anybody is willing to pay. This dude will probably sell his 10 at R2400, but those buyers will kick themselves when locally bred slings come onto the market at R1200 each.

If you have to think about it, members on the site and people in the know will not spend that kind of money on "blue spiders"
But people who aren't on the site or in the know will just go and spend that much money on them cause they don't know any better.

What I have learnt in hobby and as it been said, people will spend any amount of money on something they wont, it is the value f the object wonted!

Poecilotheria metallica 1-2.FH, .40€.(+-R400)
Poecilotheria metallica (3. - 4. FH) - Stk. 45€ (+-R450)
Poecilotheria metallica (2 - 2,5 cm KL) - Stk. 60€ (+-R600)
Poecilotheria metallica (3. - 4. FH) - 5 Stk. 200€ (+-R2000)
Poecilotheria metallica (2 - 2,5 cm KL) - 5 Stk. 250€ (+-R2500)

The only differences between Germany and us is:
- They are spider breeding machines
- There are a lot more people breeding spiders like metallica's.

It is still a case of supply and demand. In 5 years time when there are 10 metallica's on eggcases then the price will drop.
