I am relieved i stumbled across this post as i thought i was imagining things when tried to rehouse my P. ornata sling of around the same size and managed to lose it for 10 minutes to find it on my leg. I felt a sting when i put a jar over it and removed it. There was nothing else but an itchy feeling and i was covinced it could not have ben the sling. Now i know better.

Glad i read this Thanks for the report to see that its not as bad as everyone says when they are slings... I once i heard that slings venom is more toxic then an adults but i think the problem is that it injects such a small amount of venom that all it really causes is an itch..

Also heard that a P.Ornata bite is worse then P.Regalis
