Just try and tape from the inside somehow, so that the spiders don't stick to the tape when they start moving around.
I use to always breed mine in containers that the babies would be able to escape from so that they could populate my garage and house when they were ready to move out.

I had about 200+ babies from my first batch and my second one is about 300 strong all still first instar while my first lot is 3rd and 4th instar. They are awsome little creatures to watch, especially feeding time. Just leave the sack with her even with open holes. just get the ones you want and keep them in different enclosures. Oja and communal's don't work with them trust me. I released all my extras into my room I have been mosquito free for a month now. :silly:

Mom knows best, shell open them when ready but she usually starts building the nest bigger before they hatch out so make sure she has some dried leaves in there.

she has moved off the nest for some time now, probably 2 days... why would she do this and would it be a good idea to remove he egg sac from the big tank where I wont be able to remove them?
