it was just what i had read on a care sheet that they like temps of between 70 to 80 degrees f . I got another g rosea off my mum that hadnt eaten in 12 month she did not have a heat mat so i put her on a heat mat and she started to eat loads so ive kept them on heat mats ever since keeping a close eye on temps but then again my mums house is freezing lol love coming on here mutch better speaking to people who have them im just trying to learn as mutch as possible thanks:)

Hi, I am from South Africa and gained a Rose a few weeks back (Jami) and I also stressed a bit about two things, wasn't eating and not happy with the peat in the enclosure, kept up on the sides and ignored the crickets all together, which I ended up taking out and feeding to my Curly, so I changed the peat and last week it was feeding time again, so :happy:
Jami ate her cricket and she is happy with the new peat, even started borrowing by her favorite little plant and everywhere else. She is hardly up against the cage anymore and very happy just being in her little borrow by her plant.
Read Stan's rant on housing and husbandry of a Rose twice and it was the best ever advice I have read, and now I am not stressing about my little Jami anymore.
I keep all my T's at room temp and they are happy and content. :happy:
