I used to run Arachnorecord, but the reporting is clunky, limited and no data mining, so I'm back to ye olde excell.

Hmm, no, what I mean is I measure the T after the molt and record that, not the molt itself.

I thought of using Excel but then the computer needs to be on etc. Grabbing the pen and writing down something is way faster, maybe when our T collection is bigger it will be better and more organized on the computer.

I use excel and my phone as you said the computer is not always on, but my phone is always close by when I am feeding or just looking at my T's, and I agree with Quintrix, excel is awesome to do a filter on if you looking for certain information. :thumbsup:

I started using Excel and then decided to try out some other software i tried about 3-4 of the programs and discovered that they dont record all the data or dont record it in the way that i like so i went back to my excel. i have a sheet per spider each spider also has its own number with all the data collected on a separate sheet. I record date recieved, price, size recieved, place recieved from,

feeding like dates quantities, whether they ate or not, i also record all there molts, dates size etc,

i then have a summary page showin all the spiders and their info including last molt date and i know its probably not going to be correct but i thought i would try it out and see what i discover about their molts by having a formula that calculates their expected next molt date.(just to see if i can find a pattern in their molting times).

i also have a seperate page from which i print the labels for each tank. i just select the number and it searches for all the data on the summery sheets.
