Ok I didn't know that but I'm still curious to see if that's an accurate method considering photos and their varying accuracy.

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

I'm sure at some point I read that the pholium stripe lightens to almost white in females as they mature but is darker than the males when they are still very young. So my problem is, at which point does the crossover occur?
