Cricket food vs smell

Pinheads tend to go for more crushed seed. That way the can get in. Larger crickets will enter a whole seed easy.

Gringo - Fish Food is one of my staple foods for crickets as well. It's also cheap and available at any supermarket. The nice thing about fish food is that everything get eaten and there are no leftovers.

I feed my crickets a mixture of dog/rabbit/horse pettets and its got a bit of a smell but nothing serious i also have a lot of ventilation but make sure it stays moist.
