does anyone know of a alien invasive T? They are not the easiest creatures to become a pest or out of control. They can kill local T's but im thinking hybridization is the more likely scenario.
We also have plenty of T predators in South Africa....plenty!

One thing though....i cant believe you stumbled onto a lost T a year later! thats crazy talk wow

If all is not lost, where is it?

Replied by Ceratogyrus on topic Re:Something interesting for you folk.
The majority of exotic tarantulas are potentially invasive. If a gravid female were to escape and drop an eggcase, it could possibly become a serious problem in the future.
As for hybridising, that shouldn't be a problem unless the lost T is an illegally kept baboon spider. A Brachypelma is not going to hybridise with a Ceratogyrus, so should be no worry on that side.
Would still like to see the pic, cause im not so sure its a P.murinus.

Good mornig all.

I am very sorry that I have not loaded the pics yet but as you might have noticed I have not been on the forum for a while. My mum went in to the hospital icu last week and has only stabilized yesterday, so thats the reason I have been a bit preocupied.

Yes Reynolds, trust me I know what the ods are of it happening. But there is the possibility that its not an obt. but I am very shure it is.

I have recived the pics from my friend and I will hopefully be able to load them this weekend.

Sorry for the wait.

Regards

Hagar.
