Cricket 1, Tarantula 0 was created by Visser
My brother asked me to look after his T's while away on holiday. 2 of those T's are N. Chromatus slings. I was marvelling the other day at what awesome predators the N. Chromatus are. I accidentally dropped in a cricket that was bigger than the sling. The T immediately grabbed the cricket behind the head and an epic battle ensued. That resulted in one fat happy T. So, from this I naturally assumed that slings can take crickets alot bigger than I initially thought. Since then I've been giving them crickets far larger than i normally would. This worked for a while, until I discoverd a very fat healthy cricket this morning, and no N. Chromatus sling. So, while they can and will take larger crickets... common sense must still prevail, and the cricket should be either maimed or smaller than the sling.

One more fact to put away in my growing knowledge of T husbandry.

Anyone in the centurion area that has any slings available of the giant species eg. Salmon Pink, Giant White Knees, Brazilian Red and Whites etc.

LOL! Found the sling! It had burrowed itself way down in the substrate. Obviously hiding from the cricket. I was throwing out the substrate on the grass and sifting through it, when out popped the sling. Phew!

Are you looking for slings specifically, or will a bigger one suffice?
