Not sure if a plant adds humidity etc, thinking that it’s more humid with a plant because you water the plant which = humidity? And no plant, no watering = no humidity? you can just over flow "flood" you water bowl once or twice a week im sure it will do the same thing.

WOW Im happy with the answers! very informative.
plants transpire (natural 'breathing'and cooling down process) thus there will be some condensation on the container after abit of time has lapsed. Im gonna try with plant in some, and others without, will be interesting to see how often i would have to replace the moisture that is lost between the two!

KEEP THE ANSWERS FLOWING!!!

Actually spinnerkop a plant does add humidity through transpiration which occurs daily. Plants regulate their own temperature by releasing excess moisture through stoma which are pores beneath a plant's leaves. This process also works to draw water up the xylem vessels from the plant's roots.

Watering a plant in your enclosure wouldn't provide enough humidity in any case. The plant's release of excess moisture is what works so well.
