It happens when the spider starts hardening up in the molt and does not have time to stretch out and relax.

I would suggest, I know you said you don't wont to. But I think you need to put the spider down, he can barley walk I highly doubt he is going to be able to eat that well.
I know it is sad but it will be better than trying to look after him.
He is a male at the end of the day.

He will be able to survive for the next year or so, You can feed him once or twice a month and he will be fine!

Sorry the editing did not work out to well. What i meant was that he is always kept well fed with gut loaded crickets or and there is always plenty of moisture around from moult to moult. I keep all my Avics the same and all the rest turned out fine. I am just very sad about the little guy as I had him from sling (1.5cm)

That picture was taken a while ago and the Gbb was rehoused right after that moult and peat was used on the new enclosure. Thanks for the advice though. I personally don't like anything but peat.

So then they handcuffed me and said: " Anything you say can and will be held against you"
So I said: "Megan Fox"

Ok,
Freezer is one of them.

Look. If it was a female I would of looked after her. Next two molts and she would of been back to normal.
But because it is a male, he is only going to die later down the line.

If you can't do it then let nature take it course.

@ cascade. When you take it out of the freezer, would you be able to mate it? :)

I'll look into it thanks Cascade. Well maybe someone can learn something from my experience. Not nice but educational.
