That's just the thing about Tarantula's they seem to be full of surprises! You can read about that story in the Tarantula keeper's guide if you can get your hands on one.

T's are like any animal. Each seem to have their own personality of sorts. My Curly is psychotic and I most certainly would think twice before just handling her.
