I would love to see more pics when these babies are a bit bigger, especially interacting with the female


Sorry that I have to refer to a journal that is not freely available to all, BUT :) "The British Tarantula Society" has a article about a P.formosa female with sling "which they left 2 slings with the mother". The 2 shared the hide with the female.

Eventually years later they introduced a male into the enclosure and the male also lived with mommy and the 2 slings for 2 or so weeks. The interesting part is the slings left the hide when the female got annoyed with the male "after mating". The slings left before the mother got aggressive towards the male.

They removed the male, and a few days later the 2 juvies was back in the hide with their mom.

No info about a second eggsack with the 2 juvies, but still interesting research. Will try and follow it up :)
