Being eaten is the biggest problem as the sack grows in size hence pull it and place it in ICU away from danger. If I may ask how many people have actually built a PROPER mechanical mom? not a make shift flimsy thing that does not work correctly ?? I'm talking trial and error till perfect and test it? I will see the difference. In any zoological gardens they will from start tell I an ICU is the best , but for placentals colostrum within the first 48 hours is crucial as this boosts the juveniles immune system and provides antibodies. Then from there they either leave with mom depending on how good of a mother she is and if not ICU it is.
