When I considered breeding T.ockertii for the first time, I went as far as contacting someone in America who had huge success to seek advise WAY BEFORE trying the pairing. Also spoke to some locals and gathered as much info as I could to ensure that I was as well prepared as I could be.

Not the best comparison, but if you want to play poker for the first time, would you expect to learn the rules of the game after you've placed a bet at a table? Or do you learn the rules before stepping into a casino?

Also, consider that not everyone has Internet access and not everyone can afford the TKG. This forum is all that most aspiring breeders have.

I want to know why people are not making the effort to do research BEFORE attempting to breed. I'm not talking about questions like: the female is restless, should I pull the sack. I'm talking about people who know absolutely NOTHING about the basics of breeding that don't make an effort to educate themselves BEFORE BREEDING.

If they are on this forum, then they have internet access :blink: and are able to communicate with people like Hendrijs, Mammon, Cerat etc...

Also found there are new breeders on some BBM groups who throw males and females together but don't even know what to expect. If you own a BB and you have BIS, then you have internet access as well

Why would you want to risk losing a male or female just for the sake of 'trial and error' when it can totally be avoided by doing research?

I didn't want to spell this out to you but since you cannot seem to comprehend my simple sentence I will elaborate for you. People asking the last minute what to do with cries of:"HELP HELP HELP" should maybe have considered doing a bit of googling before posting their questions. Quite simple really.

This forum is all about learning and asking questions (even of the questions are repeated almost weekly). I guess any person with logic will research breeding before attempting it.
I just think that you increase your chances of success by asking the forum before pairing and having a plan on how you are going to prepare the female (enclosure and feeding), introduce the male (times, temps), trigger dropping (misting or flooding or temps and the incubating of the eggsac be asked before attempting to breed.
