Let the T care for the sack, when they don't develop the female will realise this and she will eventually eat the sack and regain any nutrients that were lost Like cascade said

You can leave it I suppose. I was strongly advised by thanasi to take phantoms away. It really is pointless and a waste of time having the mom care for it.
Maybe thanasi advised me to remove because my female DOUBLE clutched phantoms and hadn't eaten in almost 10 months.

I think once the sack is gone, the female can start "moving on", eat a bit, molt and get ready for her next cycle.

In your case Panama I would say yes, and agree 100% with you on that.
Also if you wont to breed your spider asap but other wise there is no harm or time waste to do that,

Unless you are a hardcore breeder and you are shunting the slings out left right and centre and you don't have time for a phantom sacks,
But a female on a phantom sack will be fine if the sack is left with her.


It can also be a learning curve for the female and the owner of the spider, dry run per-say.
Unless the owner decides other wise.

I actually learnt something awesome! My flat is small and when the tumble dryer is on the WHOLE flat gets VERY humid. Now I know to give her high humidity once she's mated.

Just let me know when you ready and I will bring loads of washing to be tumble dried, to help keep the humidity up that is. :thumbsup:
