So today I decided to rehouse my P. regalis (10-12cm) think its female. The humidity in her previous tank wasnt so great, was very dry and water in her water bowl disappeared by the day  . So her new tank has a good thick layer of peat and new hidy-holes :)

oooh, and she decided to go for a walk... ended up teleporting onto my arm... :swaet:

Well done! You're brave, my P fasciata is half that size and there is no way Id rehouse it without the "bagging" system!!

This explains it nicely. Tried it with P striata male and it worked like a charm.

Love the colour on your P regalis, shaunspider!

I'm not impossible. I'm being improbable.

Short explanation, you put a big plastic bag over the current enclosure and the coax the T into it. then you move the bag over the new enclosure and coax him into it. Simple, but gloves would probably be advisable because a fang can still penetrate the bag. I read about it on Arachnoboards somewhere.

@ Marius, I dont see the link you tried to attach.

BTW, the shading on the P regalis does look female but there are others on here that are better at sexing than I am.
