hey guys i bought this beauth a wile ago as a H.minax and only now do i
relies that it might not be a minax . i have sent photos to 2 very clued up people and they not sure but dave
said its a 70% chance a O.aureotibilis so lets ce if you can confirm this

she is 10cm now and has looked the same 3 molts in a row

These are better pictures than I got sent but that Minax is abit to yellow on its thorax for me
to confirm it. But lets see who knows better, dont know enough of the old world tarantulas
to give a good answer. Maybe some like Scarab could tell us, as I know he use to own a female.

I think it is a H. minax

Doesn't look anything like my minax. My female is black everywhere, and doesn't have the yellow hairs around the carapace and the abdomen is also much darker.

Abdomen looks more O aureotibialis than H longipes.
Get some light on the lateral side of L1 and L2 tibia. Do you see a golden sheen to the setae?
