Icarus is right. The interesting thing about these cases are that the female can lay the eggs in an scattered form or will make an eggcase like you usually see with T's - inside the case you see on the pic.

There is also cases in captive care where the female will postpone adding the leaves till the spiders have emerged - it will look like an suspended T eggcase till the spiders exit ,only then does the female add the final leaf casing. The leaves serve as an temporary house where the spiders will make their first molt. The picture shows molts hanging from it so it might be vacant.

Just to add - I had a rain spider egg case outside my garage, and the mommy spider actually stayed with the egg case until the little spidys hatched. Everyday I would look, and she would just be sitting there, patiently waiting. Then one day she was gone, and closer inspections showed little babies.
