Sorry everyone...i uploaded the wrong pic...it happens when you got to many weather related pics on the drive...lol.

Here is the 1 i wanted to upload.I took it later the same day as the sundog...My brother sais that "line" that forms, is a cold front being pushed by n warm front....

Yeah that was a thunder cloud. What happens is the cloud builds then when it starts to rain the cloud collapses in on it's self leaving a halo effect. As the whole mass is moving in the same direction it gives the illusion that it is in front of the storm cloud.

BTW I used to Paraglide and fly Sailplane Gliders so I have spent many a year looking at the weather and up at the sky.
