Yeah unless you like pets other than tarantulas I think you would of been dissapointed.

One thing that is worth a mention IMO is that I picked up some of those big square glass enclosures for R30 each.

I also don't think the expo was the greatest, in the Tarantula section. There was a Shit load of snakes thou, wich was very cool to see.
I was able to get a Brachypelma ruhnaui, Mexican Golden Red Rump - Have been looking for one for ages. But after buying it, back at home, on closer inspection, I found some Fungel on the Brachy(will open a new Discussion under the clinic section)

But all in all, I think it wasn't to bad

It wasn't a bad expo. It was small. I haven't been to the Jhb expo before. I've been to the SOS expo many times. (coming up in May, will be sure to post details for y'all if no one else has already)
Compared to SOS it lacked a bit. We'd seen everything twice, I think, in 2 hours. In it's defence though SOS is the oldest reptile expo there is in Gauteng.

I'm no expert at spider pricing but I am at snake and lizard pricing and I did see some terribly overpriced stock there.

That all being said, there were some very awesome animals to see and I really had a blast!
