You gents got me thinking... what is the difference in strength between Aluminium & Stainless Steel? Well… Stainless is about 2x as strong in lab tests so it makes sense using it if available.. Funny thing is that if you check further down on the list of typical tensile strengths in that link that spider slik is stronger than stainless steel?? :swaet:
