You are thinking about the spider club of sa which is still in existence. Everyone can join that if they like. Still have a permit. :)

:) the Spider club of SA is open for anyone to join ... and yes, there are a few members of this site who belong to it.

R120 membership to the Spider Club of SA per year. It will expose you to all the other spiders out there, which should in my opinion be top priority to anyone keeping spiders... They also have very interesting articles in the quarterly news letter and fun outings.

I'm not, but I just filled in my papers and paid the money, so I am as close a member as dammit is to a swear word. ;)

The Spider Club SA is a nice club where you can learn all about spiders and be serious about them, but don't necessary have to be :)

The membership won't help you with getting a permit for local T' species, though.
