I don't let it bother me. On the day I joined there was quite a big Argument between Monalish and another member about a proposed legislation to ban tarantulas. It ended up in Mona leaving completely.
I've seen the following dissapear completely:

Fangs
Cenotaph
Frootbat (if you don't know who that is then you're not a T keeper)
Scarab
Ceratogyrus (Countless times, but he always comes back)


Probably others as well
But to be honest, I can't say I'm sad that so many people are leaving, there are some that have left that didn't like me and I didn't like them, so in some aspects, I'm a happy camper, I'll still probably be here annoying the crap out of everyone even if I'm the last member online

I guess people come and people go... if I look at much older posts then I spot people that I didnt even knew existed...

I guess this hobby is in a very fragile state at the moment... and with all above said... more people disappear than there is new members. It saddens me alot... on weekends this forum is very dead... there is more for sale posts than anything else... it also looks like people read more posts and dont actively take part... its always just the same names that comments... I might have enough fingers and toes for all of them.

I just reckon there is loads of information already people search and find what they are looking for otherwise ask. Most "experienced" members are either fed up with silly questions or just tired of answering the same questions over and over.

Don't worry everyone is in the background lurking and most probably with other nicknames. Remember most new users are also too scared to post as before they would get gunned down for not searching of posting stupid questions.

People forget that its all about having fun.

PS I can confirm that the visits on this site has grown about 200% from last year. We get about 4000 to 7000 pageviews per day.

Wow amazing to see the numbers. But I think half of those pageviews are mine.
