I love this hobby because I love my Ts

I have a love and fascination for spiders, watching their behavior amazes and intrigues me.

The hobby gives you the chance to meet and befriend like minded people and share your passion with them. Other "normal" people don't understand why you keep them and would cry if one of your tarantulas died, but here fellow T-people understand and sympathize. In the hobby (this site in particular) you meet people who would go to great lengths to help you, even though they probably never met you, which is amazing!

I keep tarantulas, because of my love of spiders, their beauty and the joy they bring to me. Watching your slings grow from tiny little spiders to majestic tarantulas, that would scare even the toughest guy not to mention your mother, fills me with joy and pride(in a good way ).

What I love about it is that every day and every second, there is something new, nes species, new type of spider personality, new reactions, and best of all new friends that love the same things I/we do..............

The second best is when you show someone your T's and the next thing you know they are in the next room.....hehe... Why do people always run out of the room? Do they think the T is going to run after them and attack? lol :laugh:

At least you can crap the neighbour out and if he doesn't listen... place his dog's crap on his doorstep. He'll get the picture after his first step into a smelly new world.

If I understand your comment, there will always be people who have no regard or simply don't consider others or how their actions affect others. There are a lot of words for those people, but the nicest one, is "Stranger" coz I will never become friends or keep people like that close to me.

I think you people said it all. I'm filled with pride to be part of the T-family. Thanx for making it a great hobby(my only hobby) to be in.
