Thanks Jones, I'll have to try the phones...
It just annoys me that in this day and age of IT and Internet Services, I must still spend my own money to make enquiries because email is still largely ignored as a business medium in South Africa.

Same here. I feel if you can't be bothered to respond to my email then why should I bother to follow up? Clearly you don't need my business.
I have had this same problem with T suppliers and their websites. Most cases they only provide an email address as a point of contact. I have asked for a quote and stock confirmation from one specific supplier twice now because there is no way to call them. I am still waiting a response which will probably come at a time where my funds are reduced again and I can't afford the items.
