F1refly, what wore those awesome things people have not done yet.


If anything there has to be a supply of the spider that are going to go into the display, so it would be some time.

Will most probably start the project this week. I am going with Dave to get some supplies this weekend : Peat, Stones, Sand, Plants, Drift Wood.

Will also get the equipment to build that awesome waterfall as in the youtube video.

Will most probably be getting the 25 x Avicularia avicularia this weekend (Thanks Hendrik) and 5 x H gigas in about 1 month. Once i am happy with the pond i will choose the right fish to put in there.

So went and bought most of the equipment with dave today. Hopefully by next week we have the ecosystem and habitat ready and then after about 4 weeks we start updating :lol:

Wooh, some progress.
@ Cascade: Sorry, only saw your post now. Plenty of things, but the one that sticks out in my mind is Mandie wanting to test the effects of different tarantula venoms, someone was even contemplating contacting National Geographic, but like some great ideas, nothing ever came of it.

So its 25 avic avic and 20 h gigas and 10 fish and 2 frogs 20 worms 10 isopods 10 cockroaches and 5 lizards going in and so let the hunger games begin ...

Surely the frogs and lizards are gonna eat most of the slings?
