You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

Thanx Syngergy,
I was thinking of using an empty spice bottle for the arboreal slings, as I also have a couple that I would like to re-house, but also struggling to find suitable enclosures.
I will have to ask the hubby to custom make a couple of encolsures.

I am also struggling to find. I prefer glass enclosures and I currently use 3 empty glass coffee bottles (Nescafe gold ones) for 3 of my spiders. The larger one for my P ornata and 2 smaller ones for my 2 P cambridgei.

they seem very happy, but it is hard to clean them because of the small opening when removing the lid. also, not sure how good they are for Avics as they wont have cross ventilation, although it is debatable if this is REALLY required.

Best would be to custom build them, I will do that end of the month when I order my perspex, if I can't find a better (and easier) alternative.

But arboreal enclosures are hard to find for me.

Well I would suggest to use Glass 3mm glass
For R600.00 you can build triple the tanks
well this is what I use

R100.00 gets me 2 tanks at 300mm X 220mm X 220mm
So for smaller slings divide the tanks in half

so R100.00 will give you 4 tanks at 300mmH X 110mmW x 110mmW

I have my arboreal spiders in Tanks that are turned right side up with the smaller side removed with a lid added with vents

So my tanks are 300mm High 220mm Wide 220mm Width ..

But also for R150 you can buy a sheet of wood to make lids I think I was quoted for a sheet of wood that 1200 x 1200 and they would also cut it to the size of the tanks ..

A large tube of marine silicone is R40.00

so in a since its much cheaper to use glass ..
