I agree, glass is much cheaper.
I like that the perspex ones are so light.

I got my P metallica in one of Kalvaer's enclosures. Those are stunningly well made. Hope I can get something like them again. *winks at lunchbox*

I recently bought one of these for my A.Avic (sitting on top of the bark)
Size: 85mm H x 75mm diameter.
They have a range of lid colours and cost about R 12 from Plastic World at hilfox. They have ones not as tall, not sure on the height though, ideal for terrestrial slings. The lid also slides in smooth and tightly, so no "earth shaking" clip like the deli tubs. I drilled holes in the lid with a 2mm bit.

Only thing about plastic is that it is hard to take photos through them. some of them have a frosted look to them as well, making it impossible.

but if you have nice clear plastic ones, they are perfect.

there is a plastic store close to my house that I visit frequently. But have not had luck in finding what I want.

Just what I've been looking for!

True, plastic scratches easier than glass too. Got to be careful when cleaning.
