I think it would be a wonderful idea. Everyone can meet each other and form a truely connected circle.. It would give all of us a chance to take a break from everything and enjoy one of the hobbies we really like, instead of never having enough time.

Not to mention, a braai or potjie would def be a nice idea even if it it just to relax with friends....

Just a thought , T's are not entirely safe to keep as pets from what I have heard (from more expereince keepers) its still "illegal" will it be safe for the hobby if we start to promote our clubs and opening our doors to strangers , who at the end of the day can/may cause major problems how do we maintain/control illegal spiders from new members and keeping the hobby safe

please correct me if im wrong about t's not being properly legalised!

I believe Scarab or Cerat will have a more authoritative answer on your question Wonderpark, I am not to sure about the nitty gritty regarding that.

As far as I understood, the issues only comes in with the local species, as we are all very well aware of.

The Herp Associations often have some section dedicated to T's only, as not all of us T keepers keep reptiles as well.

We keep on informing people. We urge newbies to stay away from locals.
