Unfortunately I have not seen the male's reaction to the webbing. can you please explain his reaction?

Perhaps he detects the pheromones in her webbing and reacts to that rather than the webbing itself.

Well I have added old exvuims of female's to the males emclosure and the males start doing thier thing so I don't think its got to do with webbing!
but more with scent of a women (female tarantula)

That is what i thought, but i don't know what reaction you experts are talking about.

I'm with duke and jaco on this one.
New enclosure = fresh 100% moisture. That will aid molting. Then there is the fright or flight senario. The conditions are perfect for egg production and in fright she will lay an eggsac ASAP in order to continue the survival of her species. I think it's just optimal conditions.

Why does the male react the way he does when he comes into contact with female silk (or gets close to her nest)?

Tarantulas smell with their feet. He needs to feel the webbing to determine if there is another spider close by.
