However, if you can get your hands on Encyocratella olivacea

They are not small though... but truly spectacularly beautiful. I have a mated female (about 12cm leg span), mated by Ceratogyrus with two males he had, received as a gift from a friend who prefers not to talk to me anymore.

Most people are like clouds. The sun comes out when they f*ck off...

Hi Mandie, before you order from him, please make sure what specie he is referring to. Some guy told me the same thing almost a year ago, he had males, females and slings. Quite a lot of them. Made an appointment and went to see him. Turned out to be Harpactirella sp. (Lesser baboon spiders). Its a local specie. Even watched a successful mating attempt. Wish all T's mate that easy. :(

Just told him that I am not interested and send the right people to go see him! They removed and relocated all of them.

Came across guys selling them again a couple of months later.

i was not planning on it,but thanks jaco,i do not trust just anyone when it comes to ts,only proffesional breeders

I stand under correction but I think it depends on the species Mandie, some will mature in a year or less if food and the environment are ideal, and others longer.

I have been told for instance that Pterinochilus Murinus (OBT) males can mature in under a year and mature at quite a small size. There are more experienced keepers like Ceratogyrus that might have more accurate info for you.

Scarab was kind enough to find this info in a previous post:

"The list is basic - ALL local Baboon spiders are illegal to collect and/or keep.

The list - courtesy South African Tarantula Society.

Augacephalus spp.
Brachionopus spp.
Ceratogyrus spp
Harpactira spp.
Harpactirella spp.
Idiothele spp.
Pterinochilus spp.
Trichognathella spp."

Just wait till they get caught. :)
I love my P.murinus though. Stunning. Although they are definately not dwarfs. :)
I have a few mature Harpactira around the 6cm mark.
