Yes. It happened to me. I have a B. smithi with one fang. I don't have a camera so I cannot post pics; even RobC recommends you don't feed hissers to your average size T's - Video here

Got mine from Paul (SA Roachman) at the Emperor's show in 2009. You can order online here

They didn't come cheap though. The entire colony was R500, but it's WELL worth it.

As far as I'm aware, it's only the adults. My smithi's fang broke on an adult.

Curiously though; why feed expensive hisser nymphs when there are cheaper alternatives? To clarify, by "cheaper" I don't mean "poor quality".

Well, my hissers breed like crazy, so it would be a shame not to use them as feeders. Thanks for your input, carsimenia
