I will go today to petshop and see if I can get roaches.

Till now the best choices I heard are:

Oxyhaloa Deusta
and
Blaptica dubia

I will be getting a bearded dragon at one stage as well... so need to find out which is better...

I've been feeding my Ts silkworms for the last month and they are great. I've done some research and in fact the silkworms have more protein and calcium than other worms(mealworms, superworms etc.)

They don't put up a fight, and they are soft.

My feeding schedule are (Every 4-5days) :

1. Silkworms
2. Roaches
3. Mealworms
4. Silkworms
5. Roaches
6. Mealworms

Then I incorporate some crickets when I buy a tub of crickets and want them finished within a day. And superworms for the larger Ts. Also I give a pinky mouse to the adult Ts, once every 2 months or so.

and so forth.

If you can get Turkistan Roaches that will be awesome, as they dont climb plastic or glass and can't get out of the tubs, or T enclosures and hide.

I can get the following (for now from gumtree)

Dubai Roach
Lobster roaches
Cape Redhead roaches
Giant hissers
Silkworms
Superworms
Mealworms
