from that angle that the pic was taken you can not make out the "horn" it is possible to see it from behind,secondly the couler is also much darker then the golden brown baboon spider that is much more commenly found

I guess at that size, it is possible to see something happening on the foveal groove.
Which would be the horn.Nice find:-) What area did you find it?

When talking about a commonly found "Golden Brown", are you talking about Augacephalus junodi?

yes I am talking of Augacephalus junodi

We found it 50 km from Tzaneen at ofckolaco B) under a rock for those that might have thought that we dug it out B)

I am not 100% sure but I think A.breyeri distribution can be found more in the KNP, Mozambique area...more east.

So it is more than likely an A.junodi that you find by you, as you said. ;-)

You stay in a nice area, you must see some awesome creatures:-)
