I think the resin and catalist is R110 for 500ml. It is this expensive because it solidifies into a clear "glasslike" block. It depends on the size of the spider. I Cyriocosmus leetzi would take two drops, a T blondi two oil tankers to cover. I experimented some, in future will only do spiders that is REALY worth keeping. Example would be perhaps a M balfouri male as they are just to magnificent to chuck.

I would gladly attemt any spider (dead that is) that you want "solidified". If you supply the stuff, we see how it pans out. If there is one thing I have plenty of, it's TIME. Oh, and you are welcome!

Thanks for sharing this, I will find this most useful.

I have a MM G. rosea, nothing special in the hobby but it was this T specifically that got me hooked on keeping T's in the first place. I still wonder when he will pass. I bought him in May 2009 as an MM then already and he is still with me.

I would really like to have him encased in resin when he passes, so that he can continue to keep watch over his brothers and sisters and so I never lose the "bug that bit" :)

I know this is a bit of a sad topic, but really, what do you all do when your T's die?
White Telephone? (Flush in the Toilet)
    Flame Factory (Burn it)
    Nuke it (Microwave)
    Freeze Dry (Freezer, then flush?)
Gurdap (Cimply chuck it in the bin?

I reckon the most humane is to cool it till it's frozen, and then flush. Goldfish style.

Hm?
