Which phone are you running android on?

I don't pay much for my Apps. I just get what I really need and I pay for something when it is worth it.
I can also just say that I have not had any malware on my phone nor have I had a phone that I can't upgrade (Galaxy S for example or any other brand that hasn't "released the latest version of android yet" due to having to customise the "latest" version to work on their non-standardized phone). iOS 6 will also work and most probably iOS 7 as well.

That being said. I will most probably move onto Windows 8 Phone (probably Nokia) in the near future. The integrated-ness of Windows 8 is simply amazing.

On topic: I feel paying for Tapatalk is worth it if you use multiple forums. I hope that at some point every forum will be supported on it. You can also discover some interesting forums with the network feature.

Running avast! on my phone, no viruses for me.
The reason some android devices can't have their software upgraded is because (as stated in the poem), the newer versions of android isn't just the same thing with 2 more features and a new skin. Its a completely upgraded OS with tons of new features and capabilities, the old devices' hardware cannot handle it.

If an app is truly worth if, I'll pay for it, but I want to test it first. Tapatalk is good, but there are some features I want added before I'll pay for it. Till then, I'll use a pirated version.

Same goes for all my other apps and games Oh, and If they charge you to death for an app\game, like final fantasy (R140!!!!), I'll just get the pirated version out of principal.

So instead of paying for apps, you have to buy a new phone every year to get the new features of the new OS. Makes sense Yes, we didn't get Siri, but we got just about everything else on our "old" phones.
Not paying for apps and pirating them is not the same thing. You "steal" the apps that usually cost money. Not judging here, I don't have an uncapped 4MB ADSL account for nothing But Joe average will not jailbreak their phones and/or side load everything for free. Not that Android is for Joe average (Like Linux).
And harking on apple this apple that. The fact that Samsung had in their internal document that requested the devs to customize the Galaxy to look and work like the iPhone is just not on. They moved away from it yes, but the fact of the matter is that the blatantly copied apple and is now paying the piper. Honestly, with Steve Jobs gone, I doubt Apple's future with regards to innovation. If the "iPhone 5" doesn't offer anything new from UI / UX perspective, I am moving along to something fresh. The icons on a screen has been done to death. I want something new. iOS from beta screenshots look VERY similar to my first gen iPod touch... 5 years later.

PS. AV on a phone... something wrong with that picture. I suppose that is what that 4th core is for. You sure it's not malware in that AV.
Just another point. The iPhone (in 5 years) made more in sales than all of Microsoft since 1975.

Op topic:.... getting hard to think of something. Let's just say... the default view of seeing the latest posts are nice, but I don't like that stuff disappear the instant you go back form that list. It would be nice to have them marked purple for say... 15 minutes as read and THEN disappear.

If I'm not mistaken, android is based on linux tech, I heard/read it somewhere.
Samsung didn't copy\steal any designs from Apple. They had those WAY before apple. Samsung released documents proving this to the public when the presiding judge refused to let then hand it in as evidence. Point being, if any designs were stolen, apple is the only possible guilty one, since samsung had them YEARS before apple

Mac OS and iOS is also based on Linux.
