Man, it sounds terrible. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

I had two S.cals a while ago, sold them because of this vary reason. Don't want to sound like a girl (no offense ladies), but I read in various reports of the severity of the bites and their HOT temper. We live in a small flat so I do not have a dedicated spider room, and if a spider like that would by chance bite one of my kids...

Cascade, I guess what makes it even worse is that you didn't go asking for trouble, but you still got it.

Wow, you had to chose THE tarantula to get tagged by hey Cascade!! Nasty symptoms but sort of what I expected from other bite reports I have read. I came pretty close to getting tagged bt a T-Rad's large S calceatum female while taking pics of her recently, Dimitri has the video of her threatening me quite a lot before finally climbing onto my had

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

Afternoon All

Well I finally got 20 hours of sleep with out getting a cramp or spasm!.

Update for Sunday, 19/02/2012.

Ok the only real pain is in my wrist, on the hand that was bitten, it is stiff, sore to move, feels like a sprain.
I got some cramps in my feet again.
My arm has got like a invulintary pull to it, where it just moves to the left!
Feels like I'm arm wrestling with someone and no matter how strong I'm fighting my arm still gets moved.

So out of all 4 days of the ordeal of being Tagged, I think Sunday was the worst day for me.
If I could choose a day, and go back to that day I would go back to Thursday, and get bitten again.
That pain I could deal with and handle it.
Sunday was just plan bad, I felt uncomfortable in my body, I felt fat, heavy, sick, felt like I needed to go to the toilet 24/7 and had hiccups for the whole day, and every time I drank or ate some thing the hiccups got worse!
Eventaully the hiccups got so bad, I started bring food and liquad up every time hiccuped.
It aslo felt like I had some one giving me a bear hug the whole day, I was battleing to breath, talk and hiccup.

The only thing is My head and body said "I feel fine" so I did some things around the house, as I did not have any spasm or cramps, I can deal with the lack of breath and hiccups.
I did some painting and helped the builder finish off on the plastering work and of cause cleaned the house after the work was done.
That was not so good idea. Monday brought some nice new surprises for me.

Know for monday Update!
Monday 20/02/2012

So I have been taking it easy since I been bitten, try not to move much and try not to do any hectic thing that would cause my muscle strain.
Sunday did not help!

Well I have lerant my lession, when you need to take it easy I need to take it easy.

So will I was moving the things back into place on sunday, I got some muscle cramp, in really bad places and sore places at that!
The cramps feel like they have become more intesne and are alot harder to stop and massage the cramp out.

I got woken up at 3am this morning with the first cramp in my calve muscle, but it was not in the normal place, but it was on the top of the calve muscle

1st under my chin.
2nd my front of my stomach cramped, the front six pack muscle.
3rd muscle on the left hand side of rib cage.
4th sheen muscle.
5th the top of my calve muscle, the first time every for me to have acramp there.
6th the bottom of my back.
7th the newest one is a cramp in my right hand.
8th in both my thigh muscle,

My thigh muscles are not small either, so the fact that the cramps have moved there, is some intense venom, and it is painful muscle so far on my body.
I find it is one of the worst cramps to sort out, as there are so many muscle in the thigh, and it is not on the top muscle it is a muscle under a muscle.
Even walking does not stop the muscle from cramping.
So I been battling with this more than any other cramp or spasm!
Also takes longer for the muscle to settle down, so the smallest, wrong move causes the muscle to cramp again, because it does not have enough time to go back to normal it basically gets worse faster than what it should do.

Sleeping is a pain, I have to sleep on my back, I have to watch how I move or I get cramps and spasm.
Also getting up in the morning is some thing I have to watch out for.
Allot of fun.

Overall, I'm doing fine, for someone that has been bitten by 'the spider" with a high venom potency.
The worst thing of the whole ordeal is the cramps and the spasms and the hiccups.
