You don't have to worry about that, unless you irritate your T's for hours on end and then leave their enclosures open. I have my whole collection next to my bed, never had any problems.

The only thing to get used to is when your T's try and lift their enclosure's lids in the middle of the night... you'll fly out of bed and switch on the lights before you can say 'huh'...

didn't quite know where to put it so i opted for here

got a question:

my Psalmopoeus cambridgei (Trinidad chevron) the enclosure he/she was in got a wee bit moldy in record time so i bought a nice new bigger glass box washed it nicely put some coco fibers a small water dish a plastic plant and a stick in.

managed to get he/she out the moldy container and into the new one (after a run round the living room :blush: turns out a pink ruler helps...)

anyway now i have a pet hole.... is this normal? did i mess up????

No worries, Mark! Many T's, even arboreals, burrow to an extent when they're young When it's big, you're bound to see more of it. Also check on it at night, it may be out and about then

saw the beginnings of that "springie" white mold thought before i take drastic measures again i'd drop in a couple of isopods see if they as useful as people say? (cute little buggers... bonus is - if you're spiders being lazy and boring they always up to something )

he/she attacked one so i dropped in a cricket, that was quickly dispatched! :laugh:

so if your aboral's digging holes drop in a few isopods they annoy them enough to go eat on the top of the plants... hopefully the view from there is nicer and he/she decides to to sell there and move up in the world... so to speak
