I just have two P. fasciata communals and recently started a H. incei one. For these species and possibly all Pokies I'd suggest rather small enclosures and one or no hiding spaces.

Communals are truly awesome to watch and they seem to be less shy as they are much more used to being disturbed by each other. Maintenance is a bit of a hassle, but not too bad. No aggressive responses as yet with mine.

I don't even feed my communals more than the single T's, and sometimes see them exploring for food together.

I've read somewhere, I think on a German forum, that someone happily introduces new P. fasciata to existing communals and keeps big ones and small ones together with no losses. Still too scared to try that myself...

I've not read of anyone keeping H. mac's communally before, has anyone on here done it before?

thier is 3 people who have done such a communal. Not sure of the resaults though?
