Do you keep your H incei the same as your pokies with minimal hides?

with the H.incei. they have burrowed. so i havent put ANY decor in there terranium yet. they range betweem 3-4 cm now.

as far as i believe the H.incei are one of the only few sp. that are truely communal. the rest that are proven fine are more tolerant towards each other>>>

I have 5 H.incei's also 3-4cm in the same enclosure, i've actually given them lots of hides and space to explore interestingly none of them have setup on their own. Three of them chose to set up home base in one corner and 2 others in the opposite corner, though I rarely see them now.

The difference between utility and utility plus beauty is the difference between telephone wires and the spider web.

As Mizz M said we keep Pokies communal with great success.

What works for me is to not keep them in too big a tank - this seems to help stop them from becoming territorial. My pokies feed together on the same crickets/roaches and I have had no casualties yet - even if there are great size differences between them (biggest about 6cm smallest 1cm).

The important thing is to introduce them all at the same time ... else the newcomer is just seen as ... well .. lunch.
