You agree with me Firefly, yet you see MY points of view as "loathing" ?

Let me clarify. Respect among fellow humans is HARD earned, it is NOT a right, nor a gift. Frankly, the human race as it behaves at present does not DESERVE respect. It is not a point of view I sucked out of a bottle on some idle Tuesday, it is an opinion that has developed over MANY years, and MANY experiences and MANY disappointments in humanity. I might have high expectations of a species that constantly try to screw fellow beings, murder for a cell phone, rape babies, cut down forests, eat whatever moves and generally and purposefully refuse decency towards others, but I can not lower my expectations of others unfortunately. I refuse to lower my expectations or stoop to an unacceptable level of existence, just to be acknowledged or accepted. In short and simple terms, I do not trust ANYBODY anymore. Trust is as hard earned as respect, both can be lost in a second. The human race and what it stands for and how it behaves, I am ashamed of.

I am not negative, I am realistic. I am not a racist, I am a realist. I am not bitter, just bitterly disappointed.

Some may agree, I respect that. Some may differ completely, I respect that too. It is what society has made me, and maybe you too... Be careful when dealing with humans, until they have earned your trust and respect... Then, be strong enough and live by what you KNOW is right. You see, EVERY human living today was born with a deep understanding of wrong and right. We comfortably call it "that little voice"... The human race has developed the unique ability to IGNORE it, an even more unique ability to shift blame, and in line with this, REFUSE to take responsibility for their actions. This is contra-survival, yet we manage to to survive because we protect such weakness through ridiculous laws on HUMAN RIGHTS.

You talk about "blame" Ripper. That is one of the favorites. Example. I stand at an open grave. One of my best friends were scraped off the trees because he stepped on a landmine, a few paces from where I am. His mother cries on my shoulder sobbing, "it's Gods will"...? UTTER BULLSHIT... God did not want war, we did... Easy hey, shifting blame...

Edit: I do not for one second assume all readers of this believe in God, and whatever you wish to believe, NOBODY may EVER judge you in any way...

one thing that gets to me when a client makes an appointment, and then they don't pitch up for the meeting, and then a week later they arrive after hours and assume you are going to help them at 1900 at night, or they pitch up during the day assume you know have to jump up and help them.

Okay, then tell me this, is it any different than, say, a few hundred years ago? The Crusades were a bunch of Christians who slaughtered thousands of innocent people just because they believed their religion was the only true one. Humans were also self serving then, but it was limited to a few people like nobility and the rich. I understand your views on the human race but I can not agree with everything.

I know all the terrible things that humanity has done: The Crusades, The Holocaust, Hiroshima and Nagasaki but these weren't done by humanity as a whole. The Holocaust was initiated by Hitler and his fellow Nazi Party Leaders, the Crusades were started by the Pope, Nagasaki and Hiroshima were ordered by the President at the time.

If Humanity in it's current form is Self Serving or whatever then why do we get people that help others? Why do we strive for a Cure for Cancer or AIDS? Granted, there will always be people out for a quick buck or who wants to screw you over, but the way I see it, we are improving. Slowly yes, but little by little is all that is needed for us to achieve greatness. I always wonder what would have happened if Mammals had been wiped out and reptiles had taken over, would they still make the same mistakes that we have? Would they also have developed Nuclear Weapons or done their own version of the Crusades?

I hope I'm not sounding like a Tw@t or anything but these kinds of discussions set my Heart and Mind ablaze (In a good way)

EDIT: Oh and please, call me Cameron. F1refly is my Fathers name :D
