Throughout history, religion has been the greatest cause of human tragedy, surpassing all wars put together. Have we learned? Have we improved? I don't see it.

"If Humanity in it's current form is Self Serving or whatever then why do we get people that help others?" you ask? They don't. They pretend to, for personal gain.
"Why do we strive for a Cure for Cancer or AIDS?" you ask? MONEY.

Humanity is rotten to the core. Personally, I won't hold my breath until that changes. We will pay the price at some point, history has a nasty habit as we know. The wheel MUST turn, and I struggle to see humanity as it currently stands, staying "on top" for ever...

@ Scarab: I completely get what you are saying. I look at the human race, and not only contemporary humanity and dispair. Is kind of like advertising. You can't frickin' move without being inundated or confronted by it.

That said, having been around one or two blocks myself has brought me to the realization that what matters is me. I have one life. It is a short one. I'm an incredibly selfish person. So I do what makes me feel good. Like not being a d**s to other people. Running feeding schemes and upliftment progammes for kids that have k#k lives and can't do anything about it. Being courteous to other people on the road. Especially if the driver is hot or it's a pretty car. Red cars suck. They get no gaps. Sometimes using spell-check, not taking myself too seriously and so on and so frothff.

I'm not a good person. Not even a little, but I am conciouss of how my descisions impact others and my life.

Individuals are unique and sometimes fun and interesting and worth my time. Humanity as a whole, not somuch.
