Well after much patience and really kicking my own but for selling my last one I finally got another T. Blondi (goliath birdeater) and damn but this thing is fast. My husband almost had a heart attack moving her into it new enclosure. We have named it Dimensia.

I hope I am wrong, but based on the cellphone pic, that spider looks like a mature male to me!

Sorry, but I don't know your experience with T's...but it
looks like the spider has enlarged bulbous pedipalps and tibial spurs?

If it is a MM(mature male) and he has tibial spurs, then that spider is definitely not a T.blondi.
A MM T.blondi does not have the tibial spurs.
If it is a mature male with spurs, it might be a T.apophysis?

Not sure on the size of a MM blondi vs MM apophysis(never seen one), but the
the MM blondis I have seen are massive, 20 - 25cm!The spider on your hand doesn't look so big.
Then again, the size of a MM can vary quite a lot!I have had a L.parahybana male mature at 15cm and another one at 21 cm!

I hope I am wrong!Hate it when people are taken for a ride with male spiders sold as females!!
